I am a stay at home mom of 3 boys in Kansas, and I love yarn, knitting, crocheting, gemstones, baking, and my husband and kids, but not always in that order.

    In re: The Yellow Rose of Texas. You’re absolutely right, but someone mentioned that earlier (which is actually what triggered my contributions.) We ARE a literate bunch, though, aren’t we?

    Where from Kansas are you? I live in Hays. Haven’t met anybody near me with the same interests! :)

    I am also a stay home mom in Gardner with 3 boys + 1 girl. Just thought I’d say “hi” from knitting mom in Gardner to another. Really enjoyed your blog!

    Yah, hey, of course we rinsch the warshrags! You know, that’s a good deal. Not a bad deal. I gotta say, there’s them says we talk funny up here, but only no we don’t. They do. In fact that was that movie? The one they filmed up there by Fargo in Nort’ Dakota? They said all them folks had accents too. I don’t know what they’re talking about but I think if they had a nice plate o’ hotdish and got a good Lut’ran sermon, why then they be fine, don’tcha know? {{HEH!}}
