Fugly Cushion Under Construction

This is the cushion I’m making for my dad to go with the rug. I cast on 30, then worked for 43 rows, binding off on row 44. I then did a row of sc around all 4 sides to make it easier to join the top and bottom. I used 2 strands of that 1970’s golden mustard, and for the top, one strand of a brighter fallish ombre, and for the bottom, a more muted fallish ombre. It’s kind of neat, because one side looks like it’s sort of faded from the sun.  It fits a 14 x 14 x 2 inch foam cushion.

FABULOUS – and it matches the rug, and **I** think both are rich, autumnal colors and handsomely done. So there. Anyone gripes send ’em to me.
