Family on the rocky beach, Hawaii 2008

Here we are on the beach near our resort. It was so nice because right by our resort there was this very rocky beach, really not much sand at all, which made a great climbing place for the boys. The rocks were all lava, and here we are sitting on some of them. Most of the rocks were closer together than these were, and there were tide pools everywhere with teeny hermit crabs and little fishies. The sandy beach was a little farther of a walk, pictures of that later. Right now, I can’t seem to figure out how to get more than one picture in my posts, so I may be posting a couple of times a day to get the pictures in before, say, June. That’s me on the left, then David, Patrick, and Steve holding Russell. Aren’t we cute? Don’t answer that.
