Kristi’s Hawaiian socks finally finished

I thought I’d better get a picture of these before I send them off to her. I had wanted to finish these while we were all on vacation in Hawaii together, but since she didn’t pick out the pattern and yarn until Thursday night, and we left on Saturday afternoon, well, to say the least, I didn’t get them done. Then, I thought, I’d get them done for her birthday, which was March 12. Due to the Socktopia challenge that past month, I was working frantically on the Uzume socks, trying to finish those, especially after they extended the deadline. I figured it was either those or these. And while I really wanted these done, I also knew I really wanted to win that prize yarn. So, these waited. I’ll just tell her they’re an early anniversary present…

Forgot to mention, they’re Wendy’s Double Eyelet Rib, and the yarn is Knitpicks Essentials in Dune Twist.  I loved Wendy’s pattern, and will be doing it again for me!
