The Quickie Hat

Just a quickie post before we attempt the park again.  This hat was the fastest I think I have ever knit.  It’s the Foliage hat from Knitty.com.  I started with size 8 dpns because that’s the largest I have.  Then switched to 10 1/2 circ, then back down to the 8’s for the ribbing.  I also did the ribbing slightly different.  I knit the knit st through the back loop.  It just looked a little loose otherwise.  I loved the yarn; it’s Knitpicks Swish bulky, and machine washable and lovely.

Russell loves it:

One more thing…Patrick won’t be having corn on the cob anytime soon…

Patrick, toothless
